The Humor Column
I write a weekly (some say weakly) humor column for The Elberton Star, a once-a-week-whether-we-need-it-or-not newspaper located in Northeast Georgia. The subject range is vast, from personal experiences to strange news stories, even obscure holidays. You may read about anything from exploding toilets or cow flatulence to Talk To Your Teen About Sex week or why you shouldn't give yourself a haircut, especially if you don't know what you are doing. Take a look and see if you can find something you like. | googleb3a021fdbbfcc064.html
 | The Tugaloo Chef
Lake Living is a magazine published by the Hartwell Region of CNI, Inc. four times each summer. The magazine is geared toward people living on or near the lakes of Northeast Georgia (Hartwell, Clarks Hill, and Russell). I contribute a food section in the magazine called "The Tugaloo Chef". The name came from the neighborhood I was living in at the time I came up with the concept, Tugaloo Bay. The Tugaloo Chef page features articles and recipes from the magazine. |
 | Cowboy Poetry and Wisdom Although this encompasses two pages, I am going to talk about them together. Cowboy poetry is a unique blend of cowboy humor, rhyme, wit and wisdom all rolled into one neat package. I began writing cowboy poetry while living and working on ranches out west. I have even included a section of "Hi-Y'all Kus", or Haiku styled poetry with a southern twang. The wisdom page speaks for itself. It's not original to me but it is informative and thought provoking. Give both of these pages a try.

 | Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like what you find here. As you can see, I live an ecclectic life, which basically means I'm a Jack of All Trades but Master of None. If you've a notion, drop me a line. Just visit the contacts page for links and such.
